My husband loves this jacket. He works outside in all types of weather. Best part is he can wear a jacket over it. He says if you leave it on too long you will cook yourselfBought it for a gift an the person absolutely loves itNo battery packI am always cold. Until I got this shirt last week I would wear an expedition weight down parka for winter adventures or even in my house whenever the heat was set below 72 degrees. Since getting this flannel a week ago, it has become my one stop shop for warmth and so far it has exceeded all expectations. It looks good enough to wear out on the town, is comfortable enough to lounge around the house in, and warm enough to replace the huge down jacket I was previously wearing. The shirt itself looks like any other flannel, but has hidden heater, pockets, and a synthetic insulation liner that is wind proof and provides a lot of warmth even without the heater on. With the heater on I can wear this shirt on a normal day and not get made fun of for wearing a jacket made for summiting Everest; A normal person could wear this shirt on a frigid day and make fun of all the normal wimps who need a jacket on a "balmy zero degree morning". With the heater on high, the shirt is hot to the touch, like stepping into a warm shower. I expect it may be a little too warm for some to wear directly against skin, if so, medium and low settings are noticeably cooler or an undershirt is comfortable and decreases the need for washing. The included battery pack appears to be an updated version of the one pictured in the description, is very sleek, small, fits nicely into the hidden pocket and provides 1 hour and 54 minutes of power on high (very close to the 2 hours advertised). The included pockets are nice for keeping hands warm, holding power pack(s) and are not noticeable even with 2 power packs and a phone in them. I found carrying an additional 10k mAh battery pack in the other pocket nicely balances the weight and can be swapped in to provide a total of 4.5-5 hours of heat on high, long enough for a full days work, adventuring, or watching football in a buddies driveway during Covid. It easy to switch from high to medium, low, or off when you walk inside or warm up from doing something active. There is a button to turn off the glowing logo if you don't want to look like iron man walking around town. The fit is modern or fitted, I am 6'2" and 170lbs (awkwardly skinny) and large is a little baggy but not as tent like as most flannel shirts I have tried on. Bigger around people may find this too slim or want to go up a size, but probably aren't the target audience for this shirt anyway. Only flaw I have found so far is one of the buttons on the sleeve is not attached well and will need to be sewn back on soon.I will update this review after a few more weeks of wear and washes.I wore this jacket for a day and two buttons popped off.
